Designers have great influence on the circularity of products, to propel a circular economy where materials never become waste, natural resources are regenerated, and responsibility is taken for the product’s entire lifecycle and its impact on the planet.
Our Redress Design Award 2024 Finalists traveled to a TAL garment factory in Vietnam as part of their educational bootcamp, where they were challenged by TAL and Redress to reconstruct pre-consumer defective stock shirt waste into semi-formal garments using low waste design techniques.
