Redress Design Award Collection

Yuval’s Redress Design Award collection, ‘Tapestry Reverie’, is inspired by tapestries, blending old world craftsmanship with modern tailoring. Her collection features oversized, structured jackets with tapestry scenes and fabrics evoking a sense of escape and tranquility. Yuval repurposes hand-embroidered gobelin fabrics and tapestries collected from flea markets and individuals seeking to discard them, upcycling the unwanted crafts into artfully decorated garments. To promote circularity, she chooses mono-material natural fibres such as wool and cotton, which are renewable and biodegradable. For versatility, some designs also feature detachable elements, such as collars, lapels, and embroidered details.
