Redress Design Award Collection

Miles’ Redress Design Award collection, ‘From Trash to Trend’, breathes new life into discarded denim collected from relatives, friends, teachers, classmates, and secondhand markets. The collection combines blue denim fabric with vibrant pink accents, creating a sporty and casual style that can be worn on many occasions. Miles designs for low waste by selecting materials that are biodegradable and recyclable, mainly pure cotton denim, and designs for longevity by making durable garments. The garments are also designed to be easily disassembled for recycling at their end of life.
