Redress Design Award Collection

Michael’s Redress Design Award collection, ‘I’ve never been there’, is inspired by Japanese culture and a fascination with the unknown. Zero-waste garments with oriental-influenced cuts and meticulous tailoring present a new power uniform where tradition meets innovation. Michael’s zero-waste designs use rectangular or square patterning to ensure that even unused fabric sections become functional as pockets, belts, collars, or cuffs. The collection incorporates vintage secondhand pure wool garments, reducing waste while also preserving quality craftsmanship.
