Redress Design Award Collection

Lenox’s Redress Design Award collection, ‘HEARTBEATS’, reflects on the stillness of hanging cloth and the question of where clothes will end up. Inbuilt recyclable paper mache rods emulate the structure of an unmoving lantern, with light reflecting from the collection’s white embroidered panels. One-piece dresses are upcycled from pure undyed cotton, with mono-material fabric buttons and detachable elements offering versatility in different styling options, such as a detachable dress skirt that can be worn as a corset top. To minimise waste, collection cut-offs are used to create detachable fabric textures.
