Bio

After participating in the Redress Design Award 2015/16, Wen has spent time between UK and Mainland China developing her eponymous brand, Wen Pan, which she launched in 2017 in the UK. In developing her collection of womenswear, Wen uses a majority of natural, organic fibres and is strictly leather and fur-free. Wen’s collections have been stocked in various global retailers, such as London-based Selfridges, Seoul-based BOONTHESHOP.

Wen holds a Fashion Design Womenswear degree at Central Saint Martins in the UK. Earlier in her career she gained industry experience at McQ by Alexander McQueen and Christopher Kane.

For her Redress Design Award (formerly the EcoChic Design Award) 2015/16 collection, Wen was inspired by the contrast between the luxurious lives of British nobility and their brutal leisure activity of hunting. She up-cycled surplus and secondhand textiles, sourced from markets in Mainland China.
