Anirudh’s Redress Design Award collection, ‘COME ONE COME ALL’, is inspired by the vibrant world of the circus. The collection rescues discarded denim and upcycles it to create engineered panels fused together with water-soluble fusing, minimising wastage and maximising use. Each design is enhanced with motifs strategically placed on areas typically prone to stains and tears, supporting durability and the opportunity for mending and redesigning.. To create the pieces, Anirudh works with women from diverse backgrounds including those from rural areas, and collaborates with mills to establish sustainable supply chains.
