Exhibitions Celebrate Sustainable Fashion Game-changers

Fresh off the runway of the Redress Design Award 2025, the 15th edition of the world’s leading sustainable fashion design competition, we unveiled exhibitions to feature the waste-reducing looks of our ten Finalists and select Alumni who are spearheading fashion’s shift toward circularity. In addition to the finalists, at Cityplaza in Hong Kong, we featured Hong Kong Redress Alumni, Jasmine Leung, Eric Wong, and Tiger Chung, while at Grand Gateway in Shanghai, we showcased alumni from Mainland China, Ruyin Tian and Wen Pan.

These showcases demonstrate how design innovation can tackle the textile industry’s reliance on virgin materials (which account for over 99% of the 3.25 billion tonnes of materials it consumes annually)1, proving waste can be transformed into beauty.

Alumni Networking Event

A dynamic event brought together 18 of our talented Redress Alumni designers from the past 15 cycles of the Redress Design Award, spanning from fresh graduates passionate about circularity to emerging talents. It was a unique opportunity for our alumni to connect with fashion and sustainability experts—to share their journeys, seek advice, and spark new ideas to help shape the future of sustainable fashion.

We were also honoured to have Shirley Chan, 3D Design and Implementation Lead, CLO, announce yet another Redress Design Award 2025 Alumni Prize winner: Amandah Andersson, 2014 semi-finalist, who won a one-year individual license for CLO3D, enabling them to design digitally, reduce sampling waste, and bring sustainable collections to life through cutting-edge 3D fashion design software.
