Redress Design Award Collection

Lili’s Redress Design Award collection, ‘KALOCSA’, is inspired by the designer’s Hungarian heritage, blending traditional folkwear and intricate embroidery with modern design. Made entirely from repurposeddenim, the collection’s contemporary garments, including a zero-waste skirt, prioritise durability, minimise waste, and celebrate heritage with traditional Hungarian embroidery motifs. Lili’s fabrics are printed with water-based inks, avoiding chemicals and solvents, and uses heat to fix the colours and prints, avoiding the downsides of steaming, such as excess or contaminated water.
